The short version
The names, dates, stories and photo you enter stay in your browser on your device (in its local storage). They are never uploaded to us. There is no account.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and steps (for example, “someone opened step 3” or “a preview PDF was made”). It never includes what you type. Google sets cookies for this.
- Purchase details from Paddle. When you buy, Paddle tells us the order number, amount, country and the email address you gave at checkout, so we can help with refunds and support.
- Emails you send us, which we keep to answer you.
Payments
Payments are taken by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your card and billing details under its own privacy notice. We never see your card number.
Your browser storage
The kit saves your answers and whether you have paid in your browser’s local storage so your work is there when you come back. “Start over” on the last step, or clearing your browser data, deletes it.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep purchase records as long as tax law requires. To ask what we hold about you, or to delete it, email hello@pixelandoak.com.
