Who we are

The Funeral Kit at funeral.pixelandoak.com is made and sold by Haider Ali, trading as Pixel & Oak (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@pixelandoak.com.

Who you buy from

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to your purchase.

What the kit does

The kit turns your answers into draft text for an obituary and a eulogy and lays out a funeral program. Writing, previewing and copying the text are free. A one-time payment of $5 unlocks the print-ready PDF files on the device and browser you paid on.

Your content

Everything you type and any photo you add stays in your browser. We do not receive it. You are responsible for checking names, dates and service details before you print or publish, and for having the right to use any photo or text you add.

What you may do with the files

You may print, share and publish the files you make for the funeral, memorial or remembrance of the person they are about, including through a funeral home, church, print shop or newspaper, in any quantity. You may not resell the kit or its templates as your own product.

No professional advice

The kit helps with writing and layout. It is not legal, financial or funeral-planning advice, and the drafts are starting points for you to check and change.

Availability

We aim to keep the kit available at all times but cannot guarantee it. Because your answers live in your browser, clearing browser data removes them; the kit offers a “Save my answers” file so you can keep a copy.

Refunds

See the refund policy: a full refund within 30 days if the kit doesn’t help.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the kit is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you bought is the one that governs that purchase.
